Trojan Nickel Mine is a division of Trojan Nickel Mine Limited, which is a 100% owned subsidiary of Bindura Nickel Corporation Limited. We are looking for suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following positions which have arisen in our organisation:
Finance Director
Reporting to the Managing Director and the Audit and Risk Committee of the Board of Directors, the incumbent will have a key role in overseeing and leading all aspects of the organisation’s financial operations, including the maintenance of accounting systems, internal control systems, reporting to shareholders and fund raising.
Main Responsibilities
- Managing the financial planning and strategy of the organisation.
- Performing financial analysis and generating reports on the performance of the organisation to the Board of Directors and Shareholders.
- Overseeing the audit and preparation of the organization’s financial statements in line with International Financial Reporting Standards.
- Developing and implementing accounting policies.
- Developing, evaluating, managing, and reducing the impact of potential risks to the organisation.
- Managing cash-flows and arranging appropriate fund-raising instruments.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (Honours) in Accounting or Finance.
- Must be a Chartered Accountant.
- Master’s Degree in any Commercial field, will be a distinct advantage.
- At least 5 years working experience at Executive or Director level in a mining environment.
