Phillip was appointed Underground Manager on 1 June 2021. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Engineering from Wits University and a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Zimbabwe. He is a SAIMM Associate. Positions previously held by Phillip include, Senior Planning Engineer, Mine Captain, Planning Engineer, Business Improvement Official, Shift Foreman and Senior Overseer Miner in a number of mining organisations that include Metallon Gold Zimbabwe and Bindura Nickel Corporation Limited.
